Important information
The Competition
CANSAT is an international engineering competition organised by ESA based on satelite construction and project propagation.
What is ESA
European Space Agency is a cooperation of 22 European states in space and atmospheric research.
GyKoVySAT
Our team is made compounded of Vyškov´s Grammar School students.
What do we want to achieve?
What are our intentions?

Teamwork is important for us, because it is the only way to achieve the best results.

Our device is going to measure greenhouse gases concentration as well as air temperature and pressure.

The reasults will be available after the presentation to the competition´s jury, so you can see what you are breathing on your own eyes.

Both the hardware and the software are made by ourselves based on OpenSat Kit.

"Technology was allways my passion. If I was to choose one sphere, the closest to my heart is radio technics. I used to disassemble various types of radios, just to be able to comlete them back again."
Vojtěch Drábek
Project leader

"Life is not infinite, but the personality stays, if something it has completed overgrows it. Science is this way and I am not giving up on any obstacle"
Karel Josef Čáp
PR Manager

"Science is a long way, to stop making up nonsenses. The more we know, the better we understand, the better can mankind act in crisis situation and there´s no difference with physics. Many findings from physics are succesfuly practicaly realized, boldly helping our cicilisation progress. I think once it will be our important alie in deeper space research."
David Kramář
Hardware developer

"Forcing next generations to live in OUR mess, not letting ´em see the snow ever again? Not make them able to live on a clear planet we started 200 years ago? Nothing for me! I hope my physics and maths skills will help correct it a bit."
Tomáš Formánek
Hardware developer

"Physics make me able to understand why things happen the way they happen. I am trying to apply my knowledge on things that may seem not to relate on each other. The older I am, the more complicated the answers are."
Pavel Oujeský
Software developer

"It is hard to imagine existance without science domains, such as maths and physics, since our whole behaiviour relies on them. That´s why I believe that life without them isn´t a life anymore."
